Gerry has over three decades of automotive sales and management experience. He began his automotive career as a sales consultant at Fitzgerald Hicks Dodge in Salem, NH where his father was the general manager. Soon after, Gerry and his father opened Gould Auto Sales as an independent pre-owned dealership in Lawrence, MA which they later sold. After the sale, Gerry was hired at Ira Oldsmobile-Toyota in Danvers, MA as a sales consultant where he swiftly moved through the ranks of virtually all front-end management positions. In 1996 Gerry joined the team of David Lewis & Associates where he dedicated his knowledge and experience to training others. Following a successful tenure with David Lewis & Associates he relocated to Florida in 2002 where he held the position of Florida's Regional F&I Director for AutoNation the nation's largest automotive retailer until 2009 when he accepted the position of Director of Training for United Development Systems, a well-established general agent focused on F&I performance and development. Through the years Gerry has spoken at and held numerous workshops for groups and conferences related to automotive front-end operations. He has also crafted several Sales, Sales and F&I Management training programs and published numerous articles in industry journals.
Vince Smith has over 25 years of automotive sales and management experience. He began his automotive career as a sales consultant for Maroon Automotive Group in Pompton Plains N.J. in 1993. He quickly rose through the ranks from sales associate to Sales Manager, Finance Manager, Finance Director and ultimately became the Operations Manager for the group's three Saturn franchises. When Saturn ceased their operations in 2010, Vince was hires as the General Sales Manager for the largest Land Rover dealership in the country, Prestige Land Rover of Paramus, NJ. Shortly after his employment Vince shifted locations to Prestige’s Aspen, Co. location and assumed the position of General Manager. As General Manager Vince took the dealership to an all-time high initiating just over a million dollars profit in a short time. In 2014 Prestige Land Rover of Aspen, Co. was acquired by the Sonic Automotive Group and Vince was asked to stay on as the groups Dealer Operator. While in the position of Dealer Operator Vince continued his success and consistently managed his dealership to achieve Pinnacle status, the most prestigious award presented by Land Rover. Today Vince is sharing his knowledge and expertise of the retail automotive business by providing training and coaching in all segments of dealerships fixed and variable operations.
